ARP, using traditional application techniques, have developed a unique style to provide you with a stunning finish which will be unique to you as the patterns in the finish cannot be repeated.

The traditional polished plasters that ARP use are the finest on the market today, made from lime and the finest Italian marble dust. There are many modern artificial plasters on the market today, but none can out perform traditional plasters.

The main ingredient to traditional polished plaster is lime, which means they set by means of carbonation, the plasters set by reabsorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to become calcium carbonate, this is known as the carbonation process and takes approximately 30 days.

Lime provides a comfortable environment by stabillising the internal relative humidity by absorbing and releasing moisture. This makes for a more comfortable environment and reduces condensation and mould growth.

ARP provide a free consultation service, we also bring along some sample boards for you to view. Our samples are on half square metre boards and are not suitible to send in the post, these give you a better indication of the type of finish you should expect.
